Lancaster Country Club's David Denlinger shot a final-round, 8-over 78 Wednesday at Rolling Green Golf Club in Springfield to finish tied for 18th in the Pennsylvania Golf Association Amateur Championship.

Huntingdon Valley Country Club's Andrew Mason, who won the event last year at Lancaster Country Club, defended his title by posting rounds of 64-70-71 for a three-day total of 5-under 205.

Daniel Charen of Makefield Highlands Golf Club finished second with rounds of 70-69-68—207, while Llanerch Country Club's Jeff Osberg finished third after carding 68-71-69—208.

Other local players in the field were Conestoga Country Club's Zak Drescher (72-75-73—220, tied for 23rd), Lancaster Country Club's Craig Hornberger  (73-74-75—222, tied for 30th) and Manheim's Brady Goodling (71-76-79—116, tied for 37th).
