Gettysburg, Washington to play for CC title

Senior Hannah Church and junior Lindsey Robinson contributed to 11 goals as fourth-ranked Gettysburg defeated Swarthmore 18-6 in the Centennial Conference women's lacrosse semifinals Saturday at Gettysburg.

The Bullets (16-1), the defending Division III champion, will host Washington (10-5) in the championship game at 1 p.m. today.

Washington advanced to the finals when Franklin & Marshall forfeited.

The Bullets will be seeking the program's first conference title since 2006, while the Shorewomen are seeking their first championship.

Robinson tossed in five goals and dished out one assist to lead the hosts. Church added three goals and two assists, while sophomores Katie Blumenthal and Loren Pruitt each tallied a pair of goals.

Swarthmore ended its season 12-5.
