The Long's Park Amphitheater Foundation will announce its summer music series Tuesday at The Ware Center in downtown Lancaster.
"It's going to be a fantastic season because this is also the 50th birthday of the Amphitheater Foundation. So it's going to be a special year," Judy Smith, executive director of the foundation, said.
The event will feature live music, food and drinks and a silent auction of original artwork, jewelry and gift certificates from area merchants and restaurants.
Proceeds benefit the summer music series.
"This is all done for the music because we want to keep the music free and we want to continue the quality of the performers we bring in and also make sure we can continue to offer 13 weeks of free music," Smith said.
This year, the series will feature an additional free concert July 4.
Tuesday's event will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $50, and Smith asks that anyone interested RSVP by Monday at 735-8883 or at www.longspark.org.
