TO THE EDITORS:

This letter is in response to the letter, April 3, that city trash is an eyesore.

I am in agreement. The trash is an eyesore. It makes the most beautiful spring day look bad. We all share this planet.If you see a piece of trash and a trash receptacle is nearby, pick up the trash and throw it out. I do. Just a small step can help.

If you want to make a bigger step, volunteer at the Great Pa cleanup (gacofpa.org) to volunteer at a clean-up event in Lancaster County. It will make you feel good, I promise.
