Police said a Terre Hill woman was injured when she lost control of her vehicle Thursday morning in Earl Township.

Alison Beiler, 52, was traveling south on Martindale Road at 9 a.m. when she lost control of her Toyota sedan while rounding a curve near White Oak Road, according to New Holland police.

Beiler's vehicle slid into a field and flipped, police said, coming to rest on its driver's side.

Beiler had to be removed from the vehicle by emergency personnel.

She was taken by ambulance to Lancaster General Hospital, where she was in serious condition Thursday afternoon, according to a hospital official.
