ALCOHOL CHARGE
RAPHO TWP.: Brandon K. Riehl, 18, of 5769 Kingsfield Drive, Narvon, was charged with trying to transport alcohol for another individual Feb. 4 in the 900 block of East Main Street.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
EPHRATA: Saxon Farnes, 21, of the 400 block of East Main Street, Ephrata, will be sent a summons, police said. They allege that he relieved himself in public at the rear of the Cloister Shopping Center, 100 block of North Reading Road, Monday.
MANOR TWP.: Tiffany Edwards, 26, of Whitney Road, was charged after a disturbance Saturday outside her home.
MANHEIM: Meghan M. Erb, 18, of 207 N. Linden St., Manheim, was charged after she allegedly struck a vehicle and left the scene Feb. 15 in the 100 block of West High Street. When police located Erb, she was unsteady on her feet, they said. Charges also include careless driving, accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle and public drunkenness.
MANHEIM: Paul R. Martin Jr., 31, of 141 S. Wolf St., Manheim, was charged after he allegedly kicked a vehicle Feb. 9, setting off its alarm, outside his home.
DRUG CHARGES
RAPHO TWP.: Ashley R. Riehl, 20, of 1602 Millport Road, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia Feb. 3 in the 2700 block of Mount Joy Road.
DUI
BRECKNOCK TWP.: David Elijah Leis, 29, of Bowmansville, was charged after a traffic violation at Route 222 and Orchard Road Tuesday night, state police at Ephrata said.
EPHRATA: Robert M. Weitzel, 57, of Sandy Hill Road, Denver, was stopped in the 100 block of North Reading Road after officers observed a red traffic signal violation and erratic driving at South Reading and Meadow Valley roads Sunday night, Ephrata police said. Weitzel displayed signs of intoxication, failed a field sobriety test and had a blood alcohol content of .15 percent. He was arrested for DUI and released at his home. A criminal summons will be sent to Weitzel.
EAST LAMPETER TWP.: Robert A. Fryberger, 41, of Lancaster, was charged after he drove his vehicle over an embankment Saturday at Burger King, 1641 Lincoln Highway East, police said.
EAST HEMPFIELD TWP.: Lynette Diaz, 36, of Lititz, was arrested after a traffic stop early Saturday at Route 30 and Centerville Road, state police said.
EAST LAMPETER TWP.: Nathan G. Randall, 33, of Rising Sun, Md., was charged after a two-vehicle accident Friday night in front of 2575 Lincoln Highway East.
LEOLA: Matthew L. King, 23, of New Holland, has been charged as the result of an incident Friday evening in the first block of East Main Street. Police said King was driving erratically and almost struck a pedestrian.
MARIETTA: Robert J. Leaman Jr., 30, of 602 W. Lemon St., was recently charged as the result of a traffic stop Nov. 16 at South Bank and East Front streets.
CLAY TWP.: James Severson, no age given, of Lancaster, was stopped for a traffic violation on Hoover Drive Jan. 30, state police at Ephrata reported Wednesday. After an investigation, he was arrested for DUI, they said.
FALSE IDENTIFICATION
RAPHO TWP.: John R. Gillenwater, 30, of 746 Mount Vernon Road, Gap, was charged after providing a false name to police during an investigation Feb. 3 in the 2700 block of Mount Joy Road. He also was charged with having drug paraphernalia.
FIRE
LANCASTER TWP.: The cause of a blaze Sunday evening at River Park Gardens apartment complex in the 1100 block of East Orange Street remains undetermined, according to Lafayette Fire Chief Ron Nolt. Damage to the building, which housed four units, was estimated at $200,000, he said. Resident Maritza Santiago, who was taken to the hospital as a result of the fire, was discharged Tuesday from Crozer-Chester Medical Center, according to a hospital official.
HIT AND RUN
MANHEIM: Ryan P. Wilkins, 30, of 435 N. Pine St., was charged after he allegedly struck another vehicle with his car and left the scene Monday at Charlotte and West Ferdinand streets.
THEFT
SADSBURY TWP.: A half-cord of wood was taken Monday from a vehicle in the 1200 block of Bartville Road, state police said.
LANCASTER: A vehicle window was shattered and a $150 Zoom MP3 player was stolen Saturday afternoon in the first block of North Marshall Street.
LANCASTER: A vehicle window was broken in the 200 block of Harrisburg Avenue Saturday morning and a cellphone, wallet and briefcase were stolen. Loss is about $750.
LANCASTER: A vehicle window was broken in the first block of West Farnum Street Saturday morning. A Garmin GPS and accessories were stolen. Loss is $100. Damage is $250.
LANCASTER: A vehicle window was broken in the 300 block of West Walnut Street Friday night or Saturday morning. Nothing was taken. Damage is $150.
LANCASTER: A thief took a $499.95 camcorder from a display near a door at HH Gregg Appliances, 1700 Fruitville Pike, Friday afternoon.
LANCASTER: A vehicle window was broken and a $150 GPS stolen in the 400 block of John Street Friday. Damage was $300.
LANCASTER: Tools were stolen from an unlocked van in the 400 block of West Chestnut Street Friday morning. Loss is $1,250.
LANCASTER: Copper down spout was ripped off a building in the first block of East Clay Street and stolen Friday morning. Cost to replace is $400.
EAST LAMPETER TWP.: Officials at Lancaster Host Resort, 2300 Lincoln Highway East, reported on Friday that a thief broke into three soda machines. Damage is $750. Theft loss is not known.
LANCASTER: A wicker and glass table was stolen from a porch in the 500 block of South Lime Street Feb. 14 or 15. Loss is $150.
THEFT CHARGE
MANHEIM TWP.: Jabez L. Abreu, 21, of Carriage Drive, Lancaster, was arrested for theft by deception, township police said. At 2:10 p.m. Tuesday, he allegedly took items valued at $76 from a shelf at Walmart, 2030 Fruitville Pike, and "returned" them even though he hadn't purchased them.
Abreu then used the gift card he received to purchase other items.
