Cravings Gourmet Deli, which suffered a major fire in December, is set to reopen in late March or early April.
Construction work is now beginning on the restaurant at 109 Butler Ave., where Cravings has been for 20 years.
Following the fire, the restaurant was gutted in order to prepare for the reconstruction, said Steve Marinos, one of the restaurant's owners.
Marinos said that followed the $200,000 project, the 45-seat deli would reopen with the same menu, featuring sandwiches, soups, salads and pizzas.
It will, however, have a different look from new counters and seating areas to go along with new equipment. The deli will not be expanded as part of the renovations, Marinos said.
Park City changes
PacSun, which recently closed its Park City Center store, will reopen this fall at a new spot in the mall.
The new store will be in a 3,875-square-foot space in the Boscov's Wing, across from New York & Company.
PacSun, which sells clothing geared to teens and young adults, had closed at Park City to make way for Express, which will be opening sometime in late spring.
New pizza restaurant
The owners of Rosario's Pronto Pizza, 289 W. Main St., Leola, are building Finazzo's Pizza Restaurant at 2121 New Holland Pike.
The 2,190-square foot Finazzo's is set to open in May or early June, Rosario Finazzo said. The 40-seat Finazzo's will have a menu similar to Rosario's Pronto Pizza.
E-town bakery
A new bakery, J's Sweet Treats, is slated to open in the middle of March at 1 S. Market St. in Elizabethtown.
The shop on the square will be owned by Jodi Stapler and Jamie Harris who have previously made cupcakes and other baked goods from their homes.
J's Sweet Treats will sell a variety of desserts, including cakes, cupcakes, cookies, pies and molded chocolates.
Café hours
Moe's Bistro & Coffee Shop is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. The hours for the restaurant at 345 W. Main St., Leola, were incorrectly listed in last week's "What's in Store" column.
