The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, 866-366-3723, uses a "risk-based" inspection reporting process for restaurants and other food handlers.

The following inspection reports were completed Feb. 1-6.

A Tea Affair, 69 E. Main St., Lititz, Feb. 1. No violations.

American Legion Post 429, 300 Cocalico St., Ephrata, Feb. 3. No violations.

C Town Mini Market, 451 E. King St., Feb. 1. No violations.

Cici's Pizza No. 764, 2405 Covered Bridge Drive, Feb. 1. Mechanical warewashing equipment observed with buildup of filth and food residue, and not cleaned before use and frequently throughout the day. Ladles observed to have dried food residue and were not clean to sight and touch. Corrected. Spoons and flatware observed to have food residue and not clean to sight and touch. Corrected. Lids to plastic vegetable bins have product spillage. Observed salad bar equipment in service area with an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue and debris on nonfood contact surfaces. Black char and grease buildup on line pans and baking pans. Observed clean food equipment and/or utensils in kitchen area, stored wet in a manner that does not allow for draining and/or air drying. Utensil container has product spillage.

CVS Pharmacy No. 1672, 1575 S. Market St., Elizabethtown, Feb. 3. No sign or poster posted at the hand sink in the restroom areas to remind food employees to wash their hands.

Dollar General No. 2182, 347 Main St., Manheim, Feb. 2. No violations.

East Side Community Kitchen, 347 N. Plum St., Feb. 2. No violations.

Fridge, The, 534 N. Mulberry St., Feb. 1. No violations.

Hess Express No. 38258, 1704 Columbia Ave., Feb. 3.  Milk dispensing tubes are longer than one inch and not cut at an angle. Soda lines on floor. One soda line is duct taped. Food facility does not have available sanitizer test strips or test kit to determine appropriate sanitizer concentration Loose rubber door gaskets observed on the walk-in cooler. Observed slime on the ice chute in the customer self-serve soda machine. Mops are not being hung to air dry.

Jimbo's Pizza and Grille, 1285 Manheim Pike, Feb. 2. No violations.

Kingdom Buffet, 1306-1308 Lititz Pike, Feb. 1. No violations.

Lancaster Jewish Community Center,  2120 Oregon Pike, Feb. 2.Observed old food residue inside microwave in the cafe. Ice scoop stored on top of ice machine. The food facility does not have a hand sink located in the large food prep area. There are two two-compartment sinks.

Lancaster Recreation Commission, 525 Fairview Ave., Feb. 2. Clean all shelves in reach-in refrigeration unit and maintain.

Leola Pizza, 23 W. Main St., Leola, Feb. 2. Food employees observed in the food prep area not wearing proper hair restraints such as nets or hats. Observed food stored directly on the floor in the walk-in cooler and walk-in freezer rather than six inches off of the floor as required. Observed black residue inside the customer self-serve soda machine (new machine). Corrected. The hand sink in the food prep area was blocked by a trash can and was not accessible at all times for employee use. Corrected. Women's restroom is not provided with a covered waste receptacle for sanitary napkins. Paper towel dispenser empty at the hand sink in the food prep area. Corrected.

Magic Wand Soft Pretzel Bakery, 955 N. State St., Ephrata, Feb. 3. Food handler wearing a bracelet. Bulk flour containers are not labeled.

Nino's New York Style Pizza, 73 E. Main St., Lititz, Feb. 1. The edges of a wood pizza paddle are jagged. Resurface or replace. Food facility is reusing plastic mushroom containers, which are intended to be a single-service article. Pieces of silicon glued to a metal plate in walk-in cooler are loose. Correct so that it is a smooth surface.

On Orange, 108 W. Orange St., Feb. 3. No violations.

Panda Buffet, 1575 S. Market St., Elizabethtown, Feb. 3. Observed raw meat and poultry items stored above ready-to-eat items in walk-in cooler. Observed rice scoop stored in standing water. Door gaskets on refrigeration units have residue accumulations. Floor in walk-in cooler is damaged, making the surfaces not smooth and easily cleanable.

Pour, 114 N. Prince St., Feb. 2. Date and label all potentially hazardous foods. Provide additonal waste receptacles and or additional service to accomodate trash overflow.

Rettew's Catering, 309 S. Main St., Manheim, Feb. 2. No violations.

Riehl's Grills, 955 N. State St., Ephrata, Feb. 3. Plastic utensils are being stored with food contact surfaces up. Observed a raw wooden beam with wires attached in food prep area. Correct so that it is a smooth, easily cleanable surface. Hood baffles need cleaning. Some stored utensils were not clean to sight and touch.

Riverbound, 2 W. Grant St., Feb. 3. No violations.

Riverside Camping Association, 730 E. Strawberry St., Feb. 6. Observed wet wiping cloths in food prep area not being stored in sanitizer solution.

Sight & Sound Theatre Concession, 300 Hartman Bridge Road, Strasburg, Feb. 1. Ice machine drop plate has black moldlike accumulation. Corrected.

Sublime Cupcakes, 1048 Lititz Pike, Lititz, Feb. 1. Spatulas are stored with food contact surfaces up. Mop sink is in close proximity to the prep table. A 12-inch high partition needs to be installed on the left side.

Subway No. 3056, 1027 Dillerville Road, Feb. 3. No violations.

Subway No. 23207, 2350 N. Reading Road, Denver, Feb. 2. No violations.

Sushi One, 1961 Fruitville Pike, Feb. 1. The person in charge does not have adequate knowledge of food safety in this food facility as evidenced by this non-compliant inspection. Employee personal items were observed in the dry storage area, and not stored in dressing rooms or identified storage areas as required. Several raw animal foods were stored above ready-to-eat foods in the reach-in coolers. Common cups being used in bulk foods instead of using scoops. Food utensils in the food prep area observed stored in a container of water which is not maintained at 135 F. Tongs being hung on oven door. Observed wet wiping cloths in the food prep area not being stored in sanitizer solution. Food facility person in charge was not able to produce records showing that raw or partially cooked ready-to-eat fish has been frozen by the facility or approved supplier as required, before use or sale. PH logs not being kept current. Observed old food residue on cleavers and knives. Clean dish racks observed stored on the floor in the food prep area. Single-service items stored with food contact surfaces exposed. The hand sink in the food prep area was being used as a food preparation sink as evidenced by observed leaves soaking in the sink. The hand sink in the food prep area was blocked by carts and a trash can, and was not accessible at all times for employee use. Women's restroom is not provided with a covered waste receptacle for sanitary napkins. Paper towel dispenser empty at the hand sink in the food prep area. Employee clothing being kept on top of food items on food racks. Mops are not being hung to air dry.

Sweethearts of Lancaster, 23 N. Market St., Feb. 3. No violations.

Tabarek International Foods, 798 New Holland Ave., Feb. 2.  Observed deeply scored cutting boards not resurfaced or discarded as required. The food facility does not maintain a food certified employee.

Target T-2072, 2385 Covered Bridge Drive, Feb. 1. No violations.

Turkey Hill Minit Market No. 65, 5 W. Clay St., Feb. 1. No violations.

Turkey Hill Minit Market No. 284, 600 N. Oak St., Lititz, Feb. 2. Observed employee touch clothing with gloved hand. In-use utensils in food prep area stored on paper. The quaternary ammonia concentration in the sanitizing solution of the three-bay warewash sink was 400 ppm rather than 200 ppm as stated on posted directions.

Twin Brook Winery -- Ronks, 2813 Lincoln Highway East Ronks, Feb. 2. No violations.

Twin Kiss Drive-In, 309 S. Main St., Manheim, Feb. 2. Old food residue observed on the can opener blade. Old food residue inside of the microwave.

USA Mart, 106 E. King St., Feb. 6. No violations.

V&F Mini Market, 609 N. Plum St., Feb. 3.Hair restraints must be worn in deli area. Date and label all potentially hazardous foods. Prepackaged food is not labeled properly with the names of products, ingredient statement, net weight, distributed by statement and/or nutritional facts. Door to the outside of the food facility is not self-closing and/or is being propped open. Roach observed in deli area. Provide recent extermination.

Watering Trough, 905 W. Main St. Mount Joy, Feb. 1. Follow-up inspection; no violations.

Wendy Jo's Homemade, 2 W. Grant St., Feb. 3. No violations.
