A Lancaster city teenager is behind bars after a crime spree that resulted in four arrests and 12 charges in two weeks.

Samara Jimenez, 19, is accused of several crimes, from armed robbery to retail theft, according to investigators.

Jimenez was arrested three times last month but was released each time on bail, according to court records.

The latest arrest, however, for armed robbery and burglary, could keep her in prison for quite some time. She was unable to make $250,000 bail and is at Lancaster County Prison.

The alleged crimes are the latest on a list of more than 20 offenses filed here against Jimenez since she was 14.

The most heinous allegations in the recent spree involve three random armed street robberies on Jan. 5. In one crime, Jimenez sprayed a man with pepper spray after two accomplices assaulted the victim and ran his pockets, according to a police affidavit.

A knife was displayed during the three robberies, according to an affidavit.

The accomplices also have been charged with felony robbery.

Koeen Smalls, of Jennings Drive, was arrested last week and is locked up on $250,000 bail.

Police are searching for the third alleged accomplice, a 17-year-old city boy. The Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era isn't identifying the boy because of his age.

Jimenez is accused of being a getaway driver in two of the armed robberies and using the pepper spray in the third. She and Smalls also are charged with committing a burglary, also on Jan. 5, according to investigators.

All the crimes allegedly happened between Dec. 18 and Jan. 5.

Lancaster city and Manheim Township police charged her with three counts of robbery, five counts of conspiracy, two counts of theft, one count of burglary and one count of retail theft.

According to court records, Jimenez has been charged as an adult in numerous cases since she was 14. Those charges include multiple counts of harassment and disorderly conduct for fighting, underage drinking and criminal trespass.
