Mosby's Pub, 215 E. Main St. in Mount Joy, recently expanded its kitchen while adding a pub room that has seating for 16, tall ceilings and several televisions.

Owner George Vekios said the move allowed the pub to quadruple the size of what had been an undersized kitchen. The restaurant expanded by taking over some vacant space next door.

Vekios said a couple employees were added as part of the construction, but he declined to estimate the cost of the renovations.

E-town jeweler coming

Andrew Douglas Jewelers is slated to open next month in Elizabethtown at 44 S. Market St.

The roughly 850-square-foot retail shop would take the place of Bad Boy Toys, a head shop that closed last month after being raided and accused of selling illegal bath salts.

Jewelry store owner Andrew Shelly said the new store would sell jewelry, watches, gold, diamonds and gemstones including pre-owned jewelry.

He said it would feature computer software that would allow customers to work with him to design custom jewelry.

Shelly, who has previously managed a jewelry store, is now overseeing some renovations to the new space.
