Firefighters battled a blaze Saturday afternoon on the roof of Timet Inc., 900 Hemlock Road, Morgantown.
A fire in a vent fan was reported at 4:25 p.m. and the fire was reported to have spread to a vent hood and the roof. Reports of a machine on fire inside the building were unfounded. No injuries were reported.
Gregory Creswell, who is listed as regional manager on the company's website, said he was "not allowed" to comment on the fire.
Timet, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, is the world's largest supplier of titanium products for aerospace and other industries, according to the website.
Assisting Twin Valley Fire Company (Chester County) at the scene were firefighters from New Holland, Churchtown and Honey Brook.
