Muscleman may have a tough name, but he would like you to know that he is really a soft and sensitive boy.
Four months ago, this little sweetie was found as a kitten. He was very shy and unsure of life in a busy shelter but, as the months have passed, Muscleman has gained a footing on his confidence. He is now a happy 8-month-old who is ready to experience what it's like to be truly loved for the first time.
Still a curious kitten at heart, Muscleman will make a plaything out of anything: a feather toy, a shoelace or a simple piece of paper. When playtime is over, he will venture onto your lap for love and attention as he softly purrs with happiness. He is already neutered, litter-box trained and enjoys the company of other cats. Let Muscleman muscle his way into your heart today.
Muscleman is available for adoption at the Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Highway East. Many of our available animals can also be viewed online at humaneleague.com. Regular shelter hours are 3-8 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and noon-5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The shelter is closed Sunday and Wednesday. Call the league at 393-6551.
From Jan. 17-23, the league received 26 dogs and 45 cats. Eight dogs and 35 cats were adopted; two stray dogs and two stray cats were reclaimed by their owners. Five dogs and one cat were transferred to other rescue organizations. Previously featured dog Harley has been adopted.
With the New Year upon us, make sure your dog has a current Lancaster County dog license.
Not only is it the law, but having a license can be your dog's ticket home if he or she is lost.
Dog licenses can be purchased at various locations including the Humane League or online at padoglicense.com.
