An East Lampeter Township man is facing sex abuse charges relating to his conduct with three girls.

Erin Gregory Henderson, 43, of 143 Greenland Drive, has been charged with three counts of sexual abuse of children, one count of indecent assault and two counts of corruption of minors for incidents that took place from June through November last year.

The investigation against Henderson began Nov. 15, after a woman told police that she saw three or four photos of a topless girl on Henderson's computer. The woman said the girl was 12 or 13 when the photos were taken.

According to a criminal complaint, during the investigation, police discovered that Henderson had provided two wine coolers to another girl.

The girl told police that the two got undressed and got into Henderson's bed, where they had sexual contact, the complaint said.

In the months before and after that incident, the girl told police that she and Henderson had exchanged emails that contained sexual material and attachments of pornographic images.

Another victim said Henderson had touched and grabbed her buttocks on several occasions, the complaint said.

In June, that girl said she spent the night at Henderson's home. During that time, according to the complaint, he rubbed her leg as she sat on a couch. Later, he walked up behind her and gave her a hug and kissed her on the neck, the girl said.

The girl said she did not want or consent to the contact.

In July, the girl reported that Henderson had approached her four times and asked her to send him naked photos of herself. She told authorities that he also told her she was pretty and he wanted to have a sexual relationship with her.

During a recorded interview, Henderson admitted to police he had an inappropriate relationship with one of the girls that included kissing, touching and sexual contact, according to the complaint.

Henderson also admitted he sent topless photos of one girl to another girl, the complaint said. It was not clear how he obtained the photos.

Henderson said that one of the victims was 16 years old during his encounters with her, and he guessed another girl was 13 to 15 years old when the topless photos of her were taken.

The incidents occurred at his home and other locations in East Lampeter Township, according to the complaint.

Henderson also was charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution and tampering with evidence in the case, police said.

Those charges relate to him destroying his laptop, which allegedly contained the photos of the topless girl, the criminal complaint said. Henderson destroyed the laptop Nov. 16, after being confronted about the incidents, police said.

Henderson was arraigned and committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $250,000 bail.

Township police ask anyone with information about the case to call Detective Chris Jones at 291-4676.
