Lancaster Catholic, the reigning PIAA Class AA champions, highlighted the list of 46 Lancaster-Lebanon League players named to the Pennsylvania Football News All-State team. The Crusaders placed nine players on the Class AA team.
Adam DePietro (offensive line), Brandon Hollister (athlete) and Roman Clay (running back) all earned first team honors for the Crusaders while receiver Charles Sweigert and linebacker Charles Bell were named to the second team. Quarterback Andrew Dzurik, receiver Sean Titus, punter Peter Heise and kicker Satchel Ziffer were named honorable mention.
Wilson and Manheim Township both placed a league-high six players on the Class AAAA team.
Township's Brennan Scott was a first team selection at punter and honorable mention at quarterback. Clayton Hoffmaster (offensive line) and Chase Miller (defensive back) earned third team honors for MT while receivers Tyler Karpinski and Kyle Bushong were honorable mention.
Jacob Miller was a first team receiver for the Bulldogs, running back Rodney Gillin a third team selection and quarterback Seth Klein, linemen Ethan Werner, defensive end Matt Rothrock and linebacker Dominic Moyer were honorable mention.
McCaskey receiver Diante Cherry landed on the second team in Class AAAA while teammates Quashaun Davis (athlete), Johnathan Hulyo (quarterback) and Noel Borgos (linebacker) were honorable mention.
Other L-L players on the Class AAAA honorable mention were Hempfield's Joey Gamble (running back), Conestoga Valley's Anthony Brown (running back), Elizabethtown's Kirby Breault (receiver) and Cedar Crest's Daulton Ritter (receiver).
Solanco and Garden Spot both placed four players on the Class AAA team.
Solanco's defensive back Tyler Stitz was the only first team selection in Class AAA in the league. Joe Welk (athlete) was a third team selection for Solanco while offensive linemen Matt Boulden and Eric Price were named honorable mention.
Spot offensive lineman Rob Barrett was named to the second team, receiver Connor Schlegel and defensive back Ryan Connell to the second team and quarterback John Armbrust honorable mention.
Manheim Central punter Bryant Myer made the second team while quarterback Caleb Walton and linebacker Andrew Kauffman were honorable mention.
Lampeter-Strasburg's Nate Shank (quarterback), Ray Lopez (receiver) and Jeff Pickel (offensive line) were honorable mention along with Donegal running back Johnnie Martin.
Columbia linebacker Bryan Flory was a second team selection in Class A while Seth Lefever and Michael Burke IV earned honorable mention at athlete and receiver, respectively.
