Police are investigating a shooting in the Ephrata area Thursday morning.

A female was shot in the arm shortly before 4:15 a.m., Ephrata police said. She suffered a superficial wound.

The female and other witnesses are Lancaster city residents and are not cooperating with investigators, police said.

The victim and shooters know each other, police said, and she refused any prosecution in the matter.
