Pour Girls Restaurant & Bar has opened at 11 Green Tree Road in Quarryville after a renovation of what had been the Green Tree Inn.
Owners are George and Lisa Smith along with Scott and Kathy Groff. Since April, they have overseen renovations that restored the 18th century inn south of the village of Georgetown while opening up the second floor for dining.
Lisa Smith declined to estimate the cost of the renovations, but said they constituted an "extensive, complete overhaul."
The 7,500-square-foot restaurant now has room for some 150, including at a first floor bar, several lounge areas and three small rooms on the second floor. A third-floor room is scheduled to open in the summer for private parties as well as entertainment. An outside deck with seating for at least 50 also will open in the summer.
The menu features burgers, sandwiches and seafood as well as a variety of appetizers, including nachos and wings. The beer offerings include Pour Girls Karma, a pale ale made especially for the restaurant by Stoudt's Brewing Co. in Adamstown. The restaurant has some 15 employees.
