ELIZABETH TWP.: A burglar or burglars forced their way into a home in the 100 block of Fox Road between noon and 3 p.m. on Monday, state police at Ephrata said.
A jewelry case containing a large amount of jewelry was stolen. Loss is about $2,200. State police at Ephrata ask anyone with information to call them at 721-7667.

CAERNARVON TWP.: On Sunday, between 1:30 and 4:30 p.m., a burglar or burglars stole cash and other items from a home in the 6800 block of 28th Division Highway (Route 322), police said. State police at Ephrata ask anyone with information to call them at 721-7667.

EAST LAMPETER TWP.: A home in the 1900 block of Millport Road was entered and ransacked on Sunday. Cash and jewelry were taken. Amount of loss is not known. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 291-4676.
MANHEIM TWP.: Two residences in the first block of Village Drive were broken into on Friday. A television and a game system were taken from one, while a laptop and jewelry were taken from the other.
MANHEIM TWP.: On Friday, a Hispanic female wearing a blue hoodie and carrying a blue backpack was observed pulling an air conditioner from a residence in the 1300 block of Glen Moore Circle, then trying to climb into the house. When confronted by a neighbor, she fled.
MANHEIM TWP.: A storage unit at Keepsafe Storage, 415 Granite Run Drive, was broken into sometime between Dec. 22 and Jan 6. Numerous items were taken. Loss about $6,100.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
EAST PETERSBURG: A resident of the 6300 block of Jackson Street reported that a rock was thrown through his living room window at 2:53 p.m. Monday. Loss $800.
MANHEIM TWP.: A resident of the 500 block of East Millport Road reported that his windows and siding were damaged by projectiles sometime overnight Saturday. Loss $625.
MANOR TWP.: A vehicle was driven through the front lawn of a residence in the 2100 block of West Ridge Drive during the evening of Jan. 5.
Also, a vehicle was driven through the lawn and over a sand mound in the playground at Habecker Mennonite Church, 451 Habecker Church Road, overnight Dec. 31. There were also vehicle tracks in the farm fields near the church.
Police ask anyone with information to call them at 299-5231.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS
MANHEIM TWP.: Paul W. Groff Jr., 64, of Rockford Square, Mountville, was charged with criminal trespass and public drunkenness Friday after refusing to leave the Faulkner Collision Center, 1350 Loop Road.
DUI
EPHRATA: Travis W. Showalter, 30, of New Holland, was charged Sunday in the 900 block of East Main Street after he was stopped for driving at night without headlights. His blood alcohol content was .20.
EAST COCALICO TWP.: Charges are pending against Theodore M. Gumbel, 50, of Mohnton, after a traffic stop in the first block of Denver Road on Thursday.
HIT & RUN
NEW HOLLAND: A white box truck caught a cable line at Prospect and East
Jackson streets on Monday, snapping off a utility pole at its base. The truck did not stop. Anyone with information should call police at 354-4647.
INDECENT ASSAULT
MANHEIM TWP.: A 20-year-old Lancaster man reported that he was indecently touched after he accepted a ride from a man he did not know, township police said.
The incident occurred on Monday at about 3:30 p.m. on Fruitville Pike near Roseville Road.
The victim was able to get out of the vehicle in a nearby parking lot and contact police, officials said.
The suspect was described as a dark-skinned man in his 30s, 5 feet 9 inches tall, heavy build, and driving a silver, older-model van.
PFA VIOLATIONS
MANHEIM TWP.: Luis E. Cotto-Nieves, 44, address unknown, was charged after he attempted to contact his ex-wife in late December in violation of a Protection From Abuse order. He was taken into custody at his place of employment in Lancaster on Friday and turned over to Central Booking for arraignment.
On Sunday, William L. Walls, 49, of Beaconfield Lane, was charged in the 2000 block of Northbrook Drive after he went to the residence of his wife in violation of a Protection From Abuse order. He was committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $250,000 bail.
PHARMACY ACT VIOLATION
LANCASTER TWP.: Keith M. Robinson, 46, of Red Maple Drive, was charged after he tried to fill a fraudulent prescription at CVS, 1278 Millersville Pike on Nov. 28.
RESISTING ARREST
EPHRATA: A 17-year-old Mountville girl was charged with public drunkenness, resisting arrest and underage drinking on Sunday after she called 911 saying she was drunk, lost and needed a ride. Located by police about a mile from where she thought she was, she scuffled with officers and had to be restrained. She was turned over to the Lancaster Youth Intervention Center.
SIMPLE ASSAULT
MANHEIM TWP.: Maria I. Morales, 42, of Waverly Avenue, was arrested Sunday following a domestic disturbance at her residence. During the argument, Morales allegedly struck a man in the face.
THEFT
MANHEIM TWP.: An unlocked vehicle in the 2000 block of Fruitville Pike was entered on Sunday. Two iPhones, a GPS, and a purse containing jewelry were taken. Loss was about $3,600.
EPHRATA: An unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of North Church Street was entered overnight Saturday into Sunday. A GPS unit and a bag containing personal items -- including a wedding ring and asthma inhaler -- were taken. Loss was about $500.
MANHEIM TWP.: A vehicle in the 1500 block of Manheim Pike was broken into Saturday. Loss was about $237. Also, a vehicle in the 1300 block of Fruitville Pike was broken into. A laptop and clothing were taken. Loss was about $660.
MANHEIM TWP.: Packages were taken that had been left on doorsteps in the 2000 block of Robindale Drive on Jan. 5 and the 600 block of Royal View on Jan. 4. Total loss was about $900.
THEFT CHARGES
EAST LAMPETER TWP.: Isaiaha Dion Stanford, 18, of Lancaster, was charged Saturday at Walmart, 2034 Lincoln Highway East, after he was seen removing a cellphone charger and rat repellent valued at $30.94 from packaging and concealing them in his pockets.
MANHEIM TWP.: Bradley S. Troop, 22, of Willow Ridge, New Holland, was charged Friday at Kmart, 1890 Fruitville Pike, after he was observed leaving without paying for video games valued at $19.
EAST COCALICO TWP.: Ryan C. Weachter, 20, of Denver, was charged Jan. 3 with taking $210 in cash from a residence in the 500 block of Main Street in September 2010. Weachter was arraigned and committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT
LONDONDERRY TWP.: Kathy A. Daisy, 37, of Lancaster, received minor injuries on Saturday when her car struck a deer on Route 283.
