With focus on the community, the Penn Manor Junior Comets Football Organization continues to build "Champions of Character on and off the Gridiron."

At their year-end "Cold Bowl" ice cream social held at the Eden Resort, members of the PMJC community collected hundreds of food and toys items that were donated to Clare House and the Salvation Army.

PMJC recognized its 2011 board of directors, coaches, players, cheerleaders and parent volunteers.

Special recognition was given to several young athletes who have participated with PMJC for 5-plus years. Todd Mealy, Penn Manor Senior High School Football Coach, was the featured guest speaker.

Penn Manor Junior Comets is a nonprofit organization, started in 1992. It is a member of the Red Rose Midget Football League. PMJC teaches girls and boys football and cheerleading, and promotes teamwork, sportsmanship and respect.
