A disabled tractor-trailer has snarled traffic on Route 30 near Columbia.

The truck is broken down in one of the westbound lanes on the Columbia-Wrightsville bridge, according to a dispatch supervisor.

The road remains open but traffic is reportedly backed up to Prospect Road.

Motorists should avoid the area if possible.
