The rich heritage and colorful legacy of classic cars will be on display again in Manheim's Market Square during the 11th annual Cruisin' the Square from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15.

Over 200 antique and classic cars, motorcycles, trucks, street rods, and custom vehicles will fill Manheim's Market Square during this event, which is hosted by Manheim's Main Street organization, the Manheim Downtown Development Group.

In addition to the cars, a variety of other activities will be featured during Cruisin' the Square, which is sponsored by Susquehanna Bank, Hondru Auto Group and Wiggins Asphalt Paving. There will be live dance performances by Cricket's Performing Arts and a performance by local duo, EMazin Grace. Music on the square will also be provided by DJ Backdraft.

Food vendors will include several local restaurants and community organizations. Several community organizations including Manheim's 250th anniversary committee and Stiegel Glassworks 1976 will have booths, and the Manheim Lions Club will be selling both standard and heavy duty brooms.

There will also be door prizes and raffles.  Raffle items include a custom-painted refrigerator created by Krunch Kritters and a custom-painted trash can created by Rose's Automotive. Donations will be accepted for the Manheim Food Bank.

In conjunction with the car show, the Manheim Community Library will host Shady Lady Shopping Emporium from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the mini-park at the corner of High and Main streets.  The emporium will feature a number of local vendors as well as a mini-book sale featuring adult fiction.
