Lori Donofrio-Galley has resigned as executive director of the Winters Heritage House Museum. Donofrio-Galley, whose last day was Sept. 2, had led the local history museum for the past 13 years.
Donofrio-Galley is now the development director for Berks Women in Crisis, located in Reading near her home in Wyomissing, where she moved in 2003. The museum is now searching for her replacement.
The executive job is a year-round, part-time position that supervises paid and volunteer staff. Primarily a teaching museum, Winters Heritage House is also a research and archival center.
