Thursday, 2 p.m. -- This program has been cancelled due to the expected inclement weather.

The pianos of the Keys For The City program have been along Lancaster city streets this summer for anyone to plink a few keys.

Thursday evening, a famous keyboardist is due to take a turn in front of the WXPN piano at 7 p.m.

Rob Hyman of the Hooters will perform a free concert outside Southern Market Center, 100 S. Queen St.

Hyman's performance is part of a concert series sponsored by Music for Everyone, the nonprofit music promotion group which placed the pianos around the city from May through October.

In addition to being co-founder of the Philadelphia-based Hooters, Hyman also is the co-writer and co-singer with Cyndi Lauper of the song "Time after Time." The ballad was nominated the top single of 1984 and topped the Billboard magazine single's chart that year.
