BURGLARY

EAST LAMPETER TWP.: Several hundred dollars in cash, loose change and candy from a vending machine were stolen overnight Saturday after forced entry was made into Canadiana Motel, 2390 Lincoln Highway East.

LANCASTER: A BMX bike and soda were stolen Friday from a home in the 100 block of Garden City Drive. A window was pushed out. Loss is $392.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

MANHEIM TWP.: A rock was thrown through a vehicle window Monday in the 200 block of Suncrest Road.

LEOLA: Two tires of a vehicle were slashed overnight Sunday in the 100 block of Strawberry Street.

LEOLA: A 2003 BMW was scratched Friday on Holly Drive. Damage is $100.

DRUGS

REINHOLDS: Joshua M. Moyer, 28, of Denver, faces charges of marijuana possession and public drunkenness after an incident June 22 in the first block of West Main Street.

LANCASTER TWP.: Monica M. Blewitt, 23, of Elm Avenue, was charged with illegal possession of a prescription medication on June 22 at her home.

DUI

EAST DONEGAL TWP.: Jamie Lynn Kellenberger, 31, of 149 Nicole St., Marietta, was charged Tuesday as the result of a traffic stop May 28 in the first block of North Chestnut Street.

WEST HEMPFIELD TWP.: Kevin Troutman, 23, of Lancaster, was charged early Sunday on Route 30.

MARTIC TWP.: Adam Bernhardt, 32, of the 600 block of Marticville Road, Pequea, was charged Sunday on Route 324 at Pennsy Road.

UPPER LEACOCK TWP.: James M. Renz, 46, of Ronks, was arrested for suspected DUI Friday in the first block of Hess Road after he was speeding and then backed his vehicle into a parked car. Police said charges are pending the results of a blood test.

EAST DONEGAL TWP.: Scott D. Rohrer, 40, of 149 E. Market St., Marietta, was charged Tuesday as a result of a stop June 5 at Anderson Ferry Road and Blossom Trail.

EAST DONEGAL TWP.: Jessica N. Schober, 29, of 239 N. Plum St., Mount Joy, was charged Tuesday as the result of a traffic stop June 4 at Donegal Springs and Landis roads.

EAST COCALICO TWP.: Travis C. Leakey, 27, of Blue Ball, faces charges of DUI, endangering the welfare of children and drug-related violations in a June 22 incident that began at Reamstown Park, police said. Two children, ages 6 and 2, were in his vehicle. Leakey was apprehended at Boehringer's Drive-In in Adamstown.

HIT AND RUN

LEOLA: Roman Zimmerman, 20, of Leola, was riding his bike at 3:40 p.m. Friday eastbound in the 2600 block of West Eby Road when he was sideswiped by an eastbound late-model white Lexus R300/R330 sport utility vehicle. The SUV fled the scene. Zimmerman was taken to the hospital with injuries. East Lampeter Township police ask anyone with information to call 291-4676. Tipsters may also call Lancaster City/County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-322-1913.

SIMPLE ASSAULT

LANCASTER: Melissa L. Schultz, 39, of 338 W. Chestnut St., Apt. 2, was charged after a domestic altercation Sunday at her home. She was sent to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail.

MANHEIM TWP.: Michael Tangert, 18, of Erbs Quarry Road, Lititz, was charged June 19 after he assaulted a woman at Stoner Park, 2200 Northbrook Drive, resulting in injuries to the victim, police said.

THEFT

SADSBURY TWP.: Stainless steel and aluminum tubes were stolen between Saturday and Tuesday from J.D. Kauffman Machine on Newport Avenue.

SADSBURY TWP.: Two window air conditioners were stolen overnight Sunday from Calvary Monument Bible Church, 1660 Mine Road. State police ask anyone with information to call 299-7650. Tipsters may also call Lancaster City/County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-322-1913.

LANCASTER: A 2002 Hyundai with Pa. registration HJY1072 was stolen between 3 and 6:30 p.m. Sunday from the 1100 block of Fremont Street.

LANCASTER: A GPS unit and wallet were stolen Sunday afternoon from an unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of East Marion Street. Loss is $125.

SADSBURY TWP.: A small truck was used to remove several items Saturday from the property of Lancaster Lifts LLC, on Route 41, state police said.

THEFT CHARGES

LANCASTER TWP.: Luis M. Martinez, 27, of Prospect Street, and Aneuddy Santos-Toledo, 32, of Old Dorwart Street, were charged Monday at Giant, 1360 Columbia Ave.

EAST LAMPETER TWP.: The following people were charged with taking items together valued at $557.95 from Walmart, 2034 Lincoln Highway East, between Friday and Monday:

Dustin Lee Rettew, 37, of Violet Avenue, Willow Street; Erle Carrion-Cruz, 30, and Gloryvette Cruz-Ramos, 37, both of South Ann Street; Brad Joe McCormack, 23, of Christiana; Jason B. Poidomani, 28, of Lancaster; and Lazara Linares-Cordovi, 45, of the 100 block of Aaron Lane.

Carrion-Cruz was charged with a felony count after two prior retail theft convictions.

THREATS

MOUNT JOY: Gregory M. Desolis, 27, of 281 Marietta Ave., Mount Joy, was charged with terroristic threats and disorderly conduct in a domestic incident June 17 at his home. Police said Desolis threw a bottle which smashed on the floor, cutting himself and a woman. Desolis was uncooperative and threatened to kill an officer.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT

EAST HEMPFIELD TWP.: Three people were hospitalized after a pickup truck pulling a flatbed trailer loaded with 300 ducks overturned at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday on Route 30 near Running Pump Road. No other vehicles were involved. Police did not release the names of anyone involved in the crash.

SALISBURY TWP.: Attila Kovacs, 51, of Mansfield, suffered minor injuries when he fell asleep and struck a utility pole Tuesday afternoon on Old Philadelphia Pike (Route 340), police said. After hitting the pole, Kovacs' vehicle traveled 600 feet into a field.

ADAMSTOWN: Danielle Brooks, 20, and Megan Brooks, 17, both of Narvon, and Robert and Debra Henry, both 52 and of Adamstown, were taken to Reading Hospital after a crash Sunday in the first block of Willow Street. A hospital spokeswoman said Danielle and Megan Brooks and Debra Henry were treated and released. The hospital did not have a record of Robert Henry being treated.

Police said the accident is still under investigation.
