CAR THEFT

NEW HOLLAND: A black 1994 Mazda RX-7 was taken from the parking lot of Wenger's Garage, 955 W. Main St., New Holland, sometime between June 9 and Friday.

EAST LAMPETER TWP.: A white 1996 Honda Civic was taken Thursday from the sales lot at Lancaster Auto Detail and Sales, 1650 Lincoln Highway East.

• Caretakers at Mellinger's Cemetery, 11 Greenfield Road, discovered an abandoned black 1999 Honda Civic parked against a tombstone on Thursday. The car was reported stolen in New Castle County, Delaware.

SADSBURY TWP.: A black 1999 Jeep Sport was taken from the parking lot of the Barely Used Thrift Shop overnight June 12-13.

LANCASTER: A black 1994 Oldsmobile parked in the 700 block of Fremont Street was taken June 13.

DRUGS

WEST HEMPFIELD TWP.: Michael F. Williams, 45, and Linda C. Redding, 49, both of York, were charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia Friday following a traffic stop along Route 30 for reckless driving. Williams also was charged with driving while his license is under suspension.

LITITZ: Two 16-year-old boys were seen smoking marijuana near Warwick High School on June 13. Both were turned over to school officials. Charges are pending.

THEFT

LANCASTER: A leather bifold wallet with "Sea World" imprinted on it was taken from a vehicle in the 900 block of Lititz Avenue on Thursday.

• A 2008 yellow Mongoose 21-speed bicycle was taken from a residence in the 500 block of West James Street on Thursday.

• The face plate from a car stereo was taken from a vehicle parked in the 800 block of South 15th Street overnight Thursday.

• A blue Next BMX bicycle valued at $180 was taken from a residence in the 400 block of East Orange Street.

• A black cellphone was taken from a vehicle parked at the Turkey Hill market, 5 W. Clay St., on Tuesday. The male suspect was between the ages of 13 and 15, weighing about 130 pounds, with a ponytail and wearing an over-sized T-shirt, long blue-jean shorts and tennis shoes, riding a dark-colored freestyle bicycle.

• Natash L. Cartagena, 22, of the 600 block of South Franklin Street, and a 12-year-old girl, were charged with retail theft June 14 at Park City Center after they tried removing purses and jewelry from a store without paying, police reported.

LITITZ: Two iPods were taken from lockers at the Lititz Recreation Center on Wednesday.

SADSBURY TWP.: A purse and a GPS device were taken from two vehicles parked on Sadler Drive overnight June 15-16.

EPHRATA: An X-Box 360 gaming system and three games were taken from an apartment in the 1500 block of West Main Street overnight June 15-16.

STRASBURG TWP.: A watering can and two ornamental signs were taken from a residence on Village Road between June 1 and June 16.

DRUMORE TWP.: An iPod Touch 8GB phone was stolen on Slate Hill Road on May 22.

BURGLARY

LANCASTER: A Wohlsen Construction site in the 100 block of East King Street was broken into June 16. A chainsaw, drill and a saw were taken.

• A Dell laptop computer was taken from a residence in the 600 block of State Street on June 14.

A Mac Notebook , a Wii with two controllers and a Wii were taken from a residence in the first block of East Lemon Street on June 14.

EAST DRUMORE TWP.: Someone blocked security cameras and entered Solanco High School on June 2. Taken were yearbooks, money and soda.

UNDERAGE DRINKING

LITITZ: Two girls were cited following a traffic stop June 12. One of the girls also was cited for driving after hours on a learner's permit. Both were turned over to parents or guardians.

MANOR TWP.: Braiden A. Weber, 18, of the 200 block of Stonemill Road, and a 16-year-old boy from Landsiville were cited Friday at 10 p.m. after they were found with alcohol in their possession in Weber's car, parked in a private parking lot in the Hampden Chase development. A third male with them, Kevin Henrich, 21, no address given, was cited for disorderly conduct.

DUI

MILLERSVILLE: Edwin Rolon Jr., 31, of Elizabethtown, was arrested at 10:54 p.m. Friday, after he was stopped by police in the 100 block of Blue Rock Road for a traffic violation. Police said charges are pending.

SIMPLE ASSAULT

LITTLE BRITAIN TWP.: Frank Reinhardt, 47, and Crista Reinhardt, 19, both of Nottingham, were charged with simple assault, harassment, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, following an April 28 altercation involving two women, ages 42 and 19, on Kirks Mill Road.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

EAST LAMPETER TWP.: A 15-pound piece of metal was thrown through the window of a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Witmer Road on June 16.

HARASSMENT

LANCASTER: Carlos M. Nazario, 41, of the 600 block of South Franklin Street, was charged June 15 after police said he struck a 31-year-old woman on the cheek during an argument at his home.

• Modesto G. Valazquez, 44, of the 200 block of South Marshall Street, was charged after police said he shoved a woman during an argument at his home June 15. Police said the woman suffered minor injuries to her leg and elbow

• Joanne Henry, 28, and Adam Ellis, 24, both of the 200 block of South Ann Street, were charged after a fight at their home June 15, during which, police said, Henry scratched Ellis' neck and Ellis grabbed Henry and also threw a plate of food at her.

• Jasmine M. Burnside, 26, of 1100 block of Wabank Road, was charged June 15 following a domestic disturbance at her home, police said.

• Gerald W. Burch, 31, and Eric K. Mason, 29, both of the 300 block of South Queen Street, were charged after a fight June 15.

• Henry Almodovar-Ruiz, 20, of the 400 block of Rockland Street, was charged after police said he pulled the hair and stomped the foot of an 18-year-old woman during an argument June 15 in the 400 block of South Lime Street.

• Alejandro Quinones, 48, of the 100 block of South Queen Street, was charged June 15 after police said he choked a 41-year-old woman and slammed her to the ground during a dispute in the 300 block of North Queen Street.

VANDALISM

LANCASTER:  A side window of a vehicle in the 500 block of North Charlotte Street was broken June 16.

• Someone scratched an obscene word into the driver's side door of a vehicle in the first block of East Ross Street June 15.

• The driver's side rear window of a vehicle in the 1200 block of Fremont Street was broken June 15. The front side window was scratched.

• The driver's side window of a vehicle in the first block of Caroline Street was broken June 15.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

LANCASTER: Wilfredo J. Torres, 20, of the 500 block of East End Avenue, was charged after a disturbance June 15 at his home, police reported.

SIMPLE ASSAULT

LANCASTER: Ricardo E. Salome-Cosme, 36, of the 200 block of East Chestnut Street, was charged June 14 after police said he threatened a woman with a weapon during an argument at his home. He was sent to Lancaster County Prison on $25,000 bail.

LITTLE BRITAIN TWP.: Nicholas Filliaux, 18, of Conowingo, Md., was charged after police said he went to a house in the 400 block of Nottingham Road at 8:23 p.m. Friday and grabbed a 17-year-old girl by the throat and also threatened her and an 18-year-old male.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS

FULTON TWP.: Laura T. Levering, 49, of Peach Bottom, lost control of her car Friday in the 1700 block of Cherry Hill Road and struck a utility pole. She was taken to a hospital.

LITITZ: A vehicle driven by Mark Oles, 34, of Lancaster, was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Amy Kachekries, 18, of Lititz, on June 15 in the first block of South Broad Street.

SALISBURY TWP.: A car driven by William R. Larson, 59, of Gap, was struck by a vehicle driven by Yu G. Tang, 19, of Gap on June 15 at Routes 30 and 897.

• Police said Richard K. Greenwade, 30, of Grantville, fell asleep at the wheel of his car, which rear-ended a vehicle driven by Andrew W. Durgin, 24 of Spring Grove, pushing it into a truck driven by Ousmane Congo, 35, of Aurora, Ill., on June 13 in the 4000 block of Lincoln Highway.
