DISORDERLY CONDUCT
EPHRATA: Justin Eichelberger, 28, of Ephrata, was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after police twice responded to a home in the 900 block of Ivy Lane for loud music complaints Sunday night, Ephrata police said.
Eichelberger was not compliant, and was argumentative and disruptive to the neighborhood when he followed police onto the street and shouted profanity and demands at them, police said.
LANCASTER: Ian M. Choplick, 37, of 1842 Longview Drive, was charged after urinating in public in the 200 block of North Water Street Thursday morning, city police said.
LANCASTER: Jonathan Washington, 24, of 615 S. Prince St., was charged after skating on a skateboard in the middle of the first block of North Queen Street, obstructing vehicle traffic, city police said. He ignored an officer's order to get out of the street while skating for about half a block.
DUI
WEST LAMPETER TWP.: Timothy Patrick Cunnane, 41, of 251 Meadow Lane, Quarryville, was charged in relation to a May 2 incident, township police said. Fire police were detouring traffic around a fatal wreck on Strasburg Pike at the time.
Cunnane was traveling south on that road and tried to talk with fire police personnel instead of following their directives, police said. He was subsequently stopped and was also charged with not obeying an authorized person directing traffic and violating an open container law.
HARASSMENT
LANCASTER: Irma Haythe, 40, and Jimmy O. Green, 24, both of 365 College Ave., were charged after a domestic incident at their home Friday morning.
THEFT
LITTLE BRITAIN TWP.: Electrical wire and copper tubing valued at $110 was stolen from a home in the 200 block of Little Britain Road South sometime between May 1 and Sunday, state police said. Police ask anyone with information to call 299-7650. Tipsters may also call Lancaster City/County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-322-1913.
LANCASTER: A window was smashed and a $300 iPod Touch was stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of Spruce Street between 9 p.m. Thursday and 1:25 a.m. Friday, city police said. Damage was $150.
EAST LAMPETER TWP.: Three females and one male each grabbed piles of shirts and ran out of the Polo Ralph Lauren Outlet at Tanger Outlets Center on Thursday, police said. The thieves, who were last seen running around the back of the building, took 60 polo shirts together valued at $3,000.
WARWICK TWP.: An aluminum air-conditioning condenser was stolen from a trailer parked in the parking lot of Ameritech HVAC Mechanical, 2077 Main St., on Wednesday, township police said. The strap that secured the condenser to the trailer had been cut. No value of the condenser was reported.
LITITZ: A pink, 16GB iPhone was taken from a student at Warwick High School on May 3, police said. Its value was not reported.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT
LANCASTER: Lancaster city firefighters cut off the door of a car to reach an accident victim Saturday at South Duke and East Vine streets. William Petersheim, 28, of Lancaster, was taken by Lancaster EMS to Lancaster General Hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries and released, city police said.
Thomas Sadelski, 22, of Harrisburg, was driving west on East Vine Street when he ran a red light shortly before 1 p.m., police said. His pickup truck struck Petersheim's car in the intersection. Sadelski was cited with a red light violation.
EPHRATA TWP.: Wilford Martin, 34, of Ephrata, was cited with careless driving after causing a five-vehicle, chain-reaction wreck in the 500 block of North Reading Road (Route 272) late Friday morning, Ephrata police said. He took his eyes off the road and rearended a car stopped at a traffic light at the road's intersection with Schoeneck Road. No injuries were reported.
VANDALISM
EAST LAMPETER TWP.: Seven tires were slashed on two vehicles in the 500 block of Greenland Drive on Thursday, police said. Damage was $1,275.
LANCASTER: A mirror was broken off a vehicle in the first block of North Broad Street overnight Wednesday, city police said. Damage is $200.
