A great 'Knight' for dancing

TO THE EDITORS:
My 16-year-old daughter booked a hall in the city for five bands to perform on Sept. 10. The landlord had second thoughts and canceled the verbal contract.
My daughter then searched for a new location. After many phone calls, the Knights of Columbus, on New Danville Pike, agreed to let Kate ("Ryan Riot, " her nickname) book the show.
I want to thank Cathrine, Bill, Kevin and members of the Knights of Columbus for their help.
The event was a success. The kids who attended could not have been more polite and orderly.
The old saying, "Do not judge a book by its cover," proved true after observing these kids singing and dancing for five hours! Thank you!
