State police are investigating a burglary and two thefts in the southern part of Lancaster County.

The burglary occurred at Weisser Mobile Homes, 2333 Beaver Valley Pike, New Providence, sometime between Saturday at 6 p.m. and Monday at 2 p.m., police said.

Two flat-screen televisions, a digital theater system and subwoofer were stolen from two locked display homes, police said.

A theft occurred at Temple's Salvage Yard, 2681 Noble Road, Quarryville, sometime between Sept. 2 at 3 p.m. and Monday at 8 p.m., police said.

Two 55-gallon drums full of scrap copper and a set of 15-inch aluminum Subaru rims were stolen, police said.

Copper also was the loot of choice at a theft at a home in the 900 block of Hilldale Road in Martic Township on Aug. 21 or 22, police said.

One hundred feet of copper wire, three used car batteries and a radiator for a 1987 four-cylinder Toyota were stolen, police said. Loss in that theft was about $300.

State police ask anyone with information about the alleged crimes to call them at 299-7650.
