A two-car crash on East Orange Street Friday cut afternoon traffic down to one lane.

According to Lancaster city police, a car driven by Ashley Gray, who is "in her 20s," said Sgt. Mark Heiser, struck a parked car in front of 207 E. Orange St.

Heiser's car tilted onto its side against the parked vehicle, blocking the right lane of the street. The parked vehicle was pushed partway onto the sidewalk.

Gray was "shaken up," Heiser said, but did not appear to be injured. The parked car was unoccupied.

Heiser said the cause of the accident was "inattentiveness." A witnesses told one officer Gray was using her cell phone at the time of the crash.

"That's what we've been hearing," Heiser said, but he could not immediately confirm the report.
