They waved a gun in her face and held a large knife to her granddaughter’s stomach, she told police.

Somebody could have been hurt, police said.

On Thursday, police charged Peter David Petrosky, 19, and Nicholas Mislevy, 17, each with robbery, burglary, simple assault and conspiracy.

The getaway driver, Devin Nauman, 17, was charged with robbery, burglary and simple assault.

All three suspects are from the Manheim area, police said, and the two juveniles are being charged as adults because of the seriousness of the offenses.

Manor Township police Detective James Alexander said shortly before 10 p.m. on July 11 officers were dispatched to a home on Williamsburg Road in the Georgetown Hills development, north of Millersville.

The victims, a 71-year-old woman and her 18-year-old granddaughter, were unhurt, but shaken from the incident, police said.

Two youths had entered the home, police were told, wearing bandannas over their noses and mouths, in addition to hooded sweatshirts and blue jeans.

While the one teenager held a small gun on the grandmother, who was sitting in the kitchen, Alexander said, his accomplice put a large knife against the young woman’s stomach, ordering her to move from the living room and sit next to the older woman.

“They wanted to know where her grandson was,’’ Alexander said. When the older woman said she didn’t know, the gunman grabbed her purse and fled the house.

The total loss of the purse and contents was $200, police said.

About a month later, Alexander said, Manheim Borough police Officer Steve Watson was investigating an unrelated incident and learned the names of suspects “who were possibly involved in a home invasion robbery in the Millersville area.’’

Watson immediately contacted Manor Township Police, resulting in Thursday’s charges.

Meanwhile, Manheim Borough police also charged Petrosky earlier this month in connection with a break-in spree over a two-year period

Police said Petrosky is charged with burglarizing two homes and a business, as well as stealing parts from a car, all for a net profit of $5,000 worth of items and a handgun.

Last November, Manheim Borough police charged Petrosky with threatening patrons and employees at The Cat’s Meow restaurant, making calls that allegedly included a threat of burning down the South Charlotte Street restaurant.
