Peter David Petrosky, 19, whose last known address is the 100 block of Fruitville Pike, Manheim, is a suspect in two house burglaries, a business burglary and the theft of parts from a car, Manheim Police Chief Barry Weidman said.
The losses exceed $5,000, Weidman said. Petrosky also allegedly made phone threats against personnel and patrons at The Cat’s Meow restaurant, 215 S. Charlotte St., Manheim, about 10 months ago, police said.
Officers Joseph Stauffer and Steve Watson conducted an investigation resulting in the filing of multiple charges against Petrosky, Weidman said. The charges include:
Burglary and theft for a break-in at the Outlaw Paintball Factory on South Oak Street (former Raymark Industries complex) on Aug. 4, 2004. Paintballs and other supplies were taken, police said.
Burglary, theft and criminal conspiracy from a June 13, 2006, break-in at a home in the first block of North Main Street. Stereo equipment was taken, police said.
Theft and criminal mischief for allegedly stealing cigarettes and taillight bulbs from a car in the first block of North Main Street and tampering with the vehicle. This also occurred on June 13.
Burglary, theft and receiving stolen property from a June 22, 2006, burglary at a house in the 200 block of South Cherry Street in Manheim. A handgun and a safe were stolen, police said.
Two counts of terroristic threats, stalking, simple assault and disorderly conduct. On Nov. 2, 2005, Petrosky allegedly called the The Cat’s Meow and made threats against the business, patrons. and one individual in particular, Weidman said. The alleged threats included a remark about burning the restaurant, police said.
Petrosky currently is being held in Lancaster County Prison. Manor Township police also want to question him about a criminal incident, a detective said.
Police said a 17-year-old Manheim-area boy from Rapho Township was involved in one of the June 13 incidents. The boy faces charges of loitering-prowling at night and criminal conspiracy to commit burglary and theft.
