Jessie is a stunning 4-year-old feline who is full of great qualities.
Gorgeous Jessie has a smooth, sleek, black-and-white coat that is offset by striking green eyes. Her personality is what really shines, though. She is a quiet cat who enjoys receiving affection and attention.
Jessie also has an independent and sassy side; she is content to lie by herself in the sun but won't hesitate to wake up to stride regally through your home and remind you that she deserves to be treated like a queen. Jessie is litterbox-trained, up to date on her vaccinations, and spayed.
Jessie is available for adoption at the Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Highway East.
More of our available animals can also be seen online at humaneleague.com. Shelter hours are 3-8 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and noon-5 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The shelter is closed Wednesdays. Call the league at 393-6551.
• From April 27-May 3, the league received 51 dogs and 62 cats; 21 dogs and 19 cats were adopted; 10 stray dogs and two stray cats were reclaimed. Four dogs and seven cats were transferred to other rescue organizations.
Previously featured feline Melvin is still waiting to be adopted. Clint Eastwood, last week's dog, was adopted.
