One Lancaster man is in jail and another is being sought as police seized cocaine, guns and cash from two city houses in the 500 block of Green Street on Thursday.

Police said they arrested Jose Manuel DeJesus-Haddock, 27, of 537½ Green St., and charged him with possession of heroin with intent to deliver. He was committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of bail.

Police said they are seeking Antonio Borrero Rosario, 28, of 531 Green St., who is believed to have fled the area.

Thursday's action was the result of a two-month investigation by the county's Drug Task Force, aided by city police, state police and a K-9 unit from Warwick Township police.

The officers said they seized $10,620 worth of heroin, two firearms, $26,316 in cash and two vehicles.

At DeJesus-Haddock's residence, officers said they found a small amount of packaged heroin and some cash. Further investigation, aided by the K-9 unit, led detectives to a vehicle parked in the 500 block of Green Street. Inside the vehicle, police discovered 907 bags of heroin and $4,866 in cash.

Inside Rosario's residence, police said they found 156 bags of heroin and a rifle with a mounted scope. Again, with the aid of the K-9 unit, a vehicle was found at the rear of the house. Inside it, detectives said they found a 9 mm handgun with a loaded magazine and about $20,000 in cash.
