Two people were injured when their vehicle struck a parked van and flipped onto its roof Saturday night in the 700 block of East King Street. Dennis Crork, owner of the van, said he was looking out the front door of his residence shortly before 10 p.m. when he heard the crash and then saw a vehicle "slide by on its roof." Crork, whose vehicle sustained damage to the rear passenger side, said the impact pushed his van forward about 12 feet and onto the curb.

City police Sgt. William Hickey said the two male occupants of the vehicle were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. He said the cause of the crash remained under investigation late Saturday.
