Jordann Ferguson scored a game-high 16 points Friday night to lead Greenwood over Lebanon Catholic 45-30 in a PIAA Class A boys' quarterfinal at East Pennsboro.

Zach Fortenbaugh added 13 points for Greenwood (26-3). Senior guard Nick Fortna scored 10 to lead Lebanon Catholic (17-12).

Greenwood led 11-9 at the close of the first quarter, then took command with a 16-3 scoring surge in the second quarter. The Wildcats finished the game with a 13-3 advantage at the free-throw line.

Two weeks ago, Ferguson scored 19 points to fuel a similar 15-point victory over the Beavers in a District Three semifinal game at Lower Dauphin. Greenwood entered the state playoffs as the district's second seed; Lebanon Catholic the third seed.

Friday's game marked the fifth time the Beavers and Wildcats have played in less than a year. Prior to their district semi, Catholic and Greenwood met three times in the Smallwood Summer League.
