Nine state qualifiers will be on hand when Berks County wrestlers take on their counterparts from the Lancaster-Lebanon League in a senior all-star match, Wednesday night at Elizabethtown High School beginning at 7.

PIAA bronze medalist Antonio Giorgio of Warwick leads the L-L League side, while PIAA champion Colin Shober of Schuylkill Valley is scheduled to front the Berks stars. There is some question whether Shober will participate as he has been asked to compete in the Dapper Dan Classic in Pittsburgh, as well as the District 3-District 11 match, and NCAA rules forbid taking part in more than two such activities.

Joining Giorgio from the L-L League will be state qualifiers Kyle Coblentz (119) of Garden Spot and Austin Schultz (215) of Manheim Township. Schuylkill Valley's fifth-place medalist Mike Giorgio (135) also will compete.

The L-L League team will be coached by Solanco's John Little and his assistants, Tony Mendez and Scott Perdue. The Berks teams will be coached by the  Schuylkill Valley staff of Duane Maurer, Donnie Smith, Dick Horst, Peter Horst and Kyle Kunkle.

Giorgio will also be in action Tuesday in the District 3-District 9 match at Wilson High School, which also begins at 7 p.m.

The District 3 team is a star-studded group led by PIAA champions Tyler Small of Delone Catholic (125), Joe Spisak of Boiling Springs (130), Colin Shober of Schuylkill Valley (140) and Marshall Peppleman of Central Dauphin (160). Also on hand are Cumberland Valley's state runners-up Shawn Grevey (135) and Tristan Warner (171); bronze medalists Giorgio and Bo Candelaria (145) of Middletown and state medalist Dylan Nguyen of Red Lion at 119.
