The PIAA basketball brackets have been released, and starting Friday, two L-L League girls' teams and five L-L League boys' teams will start the trek to Penn State.

Here are the first-round games involving L-L League teams …

GIRLS DOUBLE-A

District 3 runner-up Lancaster Mennonite (22-5) vs. District 1 runner-up St. Pius X (13-13) or District 12 third-place finisher Carver Engineering and Sciences (19-13), Friday, 5 p.m. at Lebanon High School.

St. Pius takes on Carver on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the High School of the Future in Philadelphia. The winner gets the Blazers.

GIRLS TRIPLE-A

District 3 sixth-place Manheim Central (17-11) vs. District 6 champ Forest Hills (18-6), Saturday, 4:30 p.m. at Central Cambria High School in Ebensburg.

BOYS QUAD-A

District 3 runner-up Hempfield (27-1) vs. District 11 third-place finisher Nazareth (20-6), Saturday, 7 p.m. in Hersheypark Arena.

District 3 sixth-place Warwick (17-10) vs. District 2 champ Scranton (20-6), Saturday, 4:30 p.m. at Marywood University in Scranton.

District 3 seventh-place Penn Manor (17-10) vs. District 1 champ Penn Wood (23-3), Saturday, 3:30 p.m. at Norristown High School.

BOYS TRIPLE-A

District 3 runner-up Lancaster Catholic (22-5) vs. District 1 third-place finisher Pottsgrove (18-9), Friday, 8 p.m. in Hersheypark Arena.

BOYS DOUBLE-A

District 3 runner-up Lancaster Mennonite (19-7) vs. the Devon Prep/Benjamin Franklin winner, Saturday, 2:30 p.m. in Hersheypark Arena.

SINGLE-A BOYS

District 3 third-place finisher Lebanon Catholic (15-11) vs. District 6 runner-up Homer Center (20-5), Friday, 7:30 p.m. at Central Cambria High School in Ebensburg.
