A gunman entered a city home, but the occupants managed to take his rifle and detain him until police arrived, police said.
Francisco Camacho-Otero, 29, of Maryland, entered the home at 422 S. Prince St. without permission at about 1:42 a.m. Monday, police said. He was "hanging out" with the residents there earlier in the evening but had left.
When he returned, Camacho-Otero started causing trouble and refused to leave, police said. Two men in the home, 25 and 30 years old, struggled to push him out the door.
One of them noticed Camacho-Otero had a rifle tucked in his pants, police said. The two men took the loaded 22-caliber Marlin rifle from Camacho-Otero and detained him until police arrived a short time later.
The gun's serial number had been filed off, so police charged Camacho-Otero with possession of a firearm with an altered manufacturer's number, police said. He also was charged with trespassing.
Camacho-Otero was sent to Lancaster County Prison on $10,000 bail, police said.
