Due to the severe snowstorm that swept through Central Pennsylvania, a number of local colleges postponed or canceled athletic competitions originally scheduled for Saturday.

• Elizabethtown College also postponed a basketball doubleheader originally scheduled for Saturday. The Elizabethtown women will now host Albright College at 1 p.m. today, and the men take on the Lions at 3 p.m.
• The men's and women's basketball games originally scheduled at Franklin & Marshall against Muhlenberg were also postponed. The games will now be Monday at Mayser Center, with the women tipping at 6 p.m. and the men at 8 p.m.
• The Franklin & Marshall swim teams' trip to Gettysburg was postponed Saturday. Both men's and women's teams will travel to take on Gettysburg at 1 p.m. today.
• Franklin & Marshall's indoor track teams' invitational meet at East Stroudsburg scheduled for today has been canceled.
Indoor track: Shippensburg senior Donnie Graybill (Cocalico) won the pole vault against competitors from schools such as Pitt, Duke and Texas A&M at Saturday's New Balance Games in New York.
Graybill took the event by clearing a personal-best 16 feet, 2 inches (4.95 meters) and became the first Shippesnburg competitor to clear 16 feet since 1995.
Graybill's winning height ties him with two others for the fourth-best mark in Division II this season and provisionally qualifies him for the NCAA championships in March.
