Tools, GPS taken from cars in East Lampeter

East Lampeter Township police today reported three thefts from vehicles.

About $1,150 worth of hand tools were stolen from a work truck at Beechdale Road in Bird-in-Hand sometime between 5 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

Someone took a Garmin GPS unit and a laptop projector from a vehicle on Black Oak Drive sometime between 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday, police said. Loss is $650.

Another resident of Black Oak Drive on Wednesday reported the theft of an insurance card from the glove compartment of her vehicle, police said.
