Ringo — yes, that Ringo — is coming to Lancaster County.
And he's bringing his newly reconfigured All Starr Band.
Ringo Starr, the singer-songwriter and onetime drummer for The Beatles, is booked to play American Music Theatre on Lincoln Highway East on July 8.
Tickets are not yet available for the show, and prices have not been set, said Andy Garman, AMT's vice president of operations.
The band's stop here will follow a concert the night before, on Starr's 70th birthday, at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
The All Starr Band includes Edgar Winter; Gary Wright; Rick Derringer; Richard Page of Mr. Mister fame; Wally Palmar of The Romantics; and Gregg Bissonette.
Starr is touring after the release of his newest album, "Y Not." The tour will kick off June 24 at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls, Canada, and conclude Aug. 7 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
AMT also has added Bryan Adams, Train and Chicago to this year's lineup of shows.
"We're always looking for new acts to bring to Lancaster, and we're going to have a bigger and better schedule this year," Garman said.
