CONCERT

• Joe Miller, pastor of Mellinger Mennonite Church, recently led 10 people from Lancaster County in a week of service, learning, and worship at the Tantur Ecumenical Institute in Jerusalem, one of the few trusted venues in the Holy Land for dialogue between Jews, Christians and Muslims.

PRAYER SERVICE

• Bruce Heydt will speak on "To Live is Christ" in a service of hope and healing with songs, Holy Communion and prayers at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, in the sanctuary at Grace United Methodist Church, 163 W. Frederick St., Millersville.

• City Gate Lancaster, 218 N. Duke St., offers weekly opportunities to pray for families and children at 6 p.m. Mondays and for encountering the word of prayer at 10 a.m. Tuesdays.

• Susquehanna valley Pregnancy Services will lead prayers at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Thursdays. Students in sixth to 12th grades will learn how to hear God in "Kingdom Shapers" classes at 9 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month. Second Saturdays will offer "Kids in Prayer" for children up to age 12 to pray for life choices. • The North Lancaster Lutheran Cluster of Churches will present  the Rev. Cliff Eshbach, assistant to the bishop of the Lower Susquehanna Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, preaching in an Ascension Day service with Holy Communion at Swamp ELC, 275 Swamp Church Road, Reinholds, at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 17.
