Stoltzfus Meats and Deli opened in a larger location in Intercourse Nov. 17, moving from Cross Keys Court Village to a spot across from Kitchen Kettle Village.
The new store at 14 Center St. is more than double the size of the former one. In addition to an expanded bulk food area and a new specialty foods section, it now has a 25-seat restaurant, Amos' Place, which features soups and sandwiches and also serves breakfast.
Hours: 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Saturday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
Smoothie opens
The Tropical Smoothie Café opened Dec. 2 at 15 E. King St. The 1,200-square-foot space features a variety of fruit smoothies and also sells sandwiches, wraps, soups and salads. It has seating for 12.
It has the same owners as the Tropical Smoothie at Bloomfield Village in Lititz. On King Street, the restaurant takes space that most recently had been occupied by the Amazon Café, which also featured smoothies.
Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
Spa moves
Escape Spa opened in October at 447 N. Mulberry Street, moving from 1909 Marietta Ave. Services include facials, massages, reflexology, waxing and ion cleanses. The salon has five employees. Judy Kulhawik is the owner.
Hours are by appointment, Monday through Saturday.
Salon opens
Great Clips, a family hair salon opened last week at Stone Mill Plaza, west of Lancaster. The seven-chair salon takes walk-in customers for haircuts. The roughly 1,000-square-foot salon features competitively priced haircuts, owner Darryl Keeports said.
Hours: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Restaurant hours
The Olde Village Grille, which began doing business in November at 2005 Miller Road in East Petersburg, is open 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday; and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The hours were given incorrectly in last week's "What's in Store" column.
