A woman injured in a two-vehicle crash along Route 322 in Ephrata Township on Monday has died, Ephrata police reported Tuesday.

Alta Hahn, 71, of Terre Hill, died at Lancaster General Hospital, where she was transported after the 5:40 p.m. crash, police said.

She was a front-seat passenger in a van driven by her husband, Samuel Hahn, 70. He also was taken to Lancaster General but was not listed as a patient Tuesday night, according to a nursing supervisor.

Police said a pickup truck driven by Jeffrey Oberholtzer, 19, of Stevens, was traveling east on Route 322 when it collided with the westbound Hahn vehicle which was turning left onto the Route 222 south on-ramp.

Alta Hahn had to be extricated from the vehicle. Oberholtzer appeared to be uninjured, police said.

Emergency crews were on the scene for about 90 minutes. The crash is under investigation.

Police said anyone who witnessed the wreck should call police at 738-9200.
