East Lampeter Township police are investigating the theft of $10,400 worth of jewelry from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Oak Thorne Lane.
Kristin Severe of Lancaster told police she parked her vehicle at about 10 p.m. Saturday and did not use it again until Monday. Severe said the jewelry was in the car because she was planning to sell it.
Items stolen include several 14-karat gold necklaces, bracelets, rings and charms along with sterling silver chains, bracelets and rings.
