Gap woman killed when car hits tractor trailer

A Gap woman was killed when her car struck a tractor trailer head-on Thursday afternoon on Route 30 in Gap, police reported.

Anna Mary Stoltzfus, 66,  was driving west in a Buick sedan near the county's border with Chester County, state police said.

Shortly before 4 p.m., she crossed into oncoming traffic and struck the tractor trailer.

Stoltzfus was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The truck driver, Cletus Ray Lewis of Missouri, was not injured.

Both vehicles sustained disabling damage.
