Bill Stull and John deVitry, two co-owners of Lancaster Arts Hotel, accepted the Community Development Award from Daniel Betancourt, president and CEO of Community First Fund, Friday at the organization's awards banquet, held at Lancaster County Convention Center.

The Arts Hotel, which obtained a $500,000 loan for furnishing through Community First Fund, was honored for spurring economic development along Harrisburg Pike through its adaptive reuse of a former tobacco warehouse.

The luxury boutique hotel and restaurant, which opened in 2006, also won praise for hiring more than 60 low- to moderate-income workers.
