Someone stole a $5,000 men's gold watch and a $500 flatscreen television from Apt. 4 at 608 W. Chestnut St. on Monday, city police said.

The burglary occurred between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

A small window in the apartment's kitchen door was smashed, police said.
