A Mountville woman was arrested in the city Sunday night for having a loaded handgun, police said.

Glorymar Hernandez-Rodriguez, 27,  had the gun in her purse in the first block of East Farnum Street at about 9 p.m., city police said.

She was not licensed to have a gun and was charged with Violation of the Uniform Firearms Act, police said.
