Two people were injured early Sunday when their car crashed into a house in Caernarvon Township.
Randall Gordy, 21, of Narvon, was listed in critical condition Sunday evening at Lancaster General Hospital.
Sarah Malin, 20, of Ephrata, was in fair condition, according to a nursing supervisor.
According to state police at the Ephrata barracks, Gordy was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Impala, with Malin as a passenger, south on South Pool Forge Road around 12:40 a.m.
Gordy's vehicle went off the pavement and slammed into the northeast corner of the house at 162 S. Pool Forge Road.
The impact trapped both Gordy and Malin in the car and they had to be cut free by rescuers.
No one in the house was injured, police said.
South Pool Forge Road was closed between Nolt Road and Ligalaw Road while rescuers were at the scene of the crash.
Gordy and Malin both were taken to Lancaster General by ambulance.
No charges have been filed as a result of the accident, police said, although results from drug and alcohol tests are pending.
Also Sunday, at least one person was injured in a one-car crash in Penn Township.
