New Holland police are asking for the public's help in locating a Quarryville man accused of issuing a bad $2,000 check at a farm sale.

James F. Findley, 33, had a last-known address of 97 Loop Road but his current whereabouts are unknown and attempts to locate him have failed, police said.

Findley issued the non-sufficient check at a farm sale in Earl Township for $2,000, police said.

He is wanted on an outstanding warrant for theft by deception issued by District Judge Rodney Hartman of New Holland.

Anyone with information on Findley's whereabouts is asked to contact New Holland police at 354-4647.
